Sorry for not posting last night.
Well it's raining and we're fresh out of manjar, so things could be better, but we're keeping our spirits up. Yesterday we had a small adventure in the kitchen. Kareem and Steve made us some homemade hummus with fresh chickpeas we bought at an open market. I was in my room researching for this weekend, so I'm still not quite sure what happened, but I heard a lot of pots clanging and maybe some yelling. Anyway, the hummus turned out really good with just a hint of lemon and hot peppers. I hope they'll make it again, but the experience may have been too traumatic.
Anyway, this weekend, we're planning on renting a cabin in the mountains. We're just planning on hanging out and roasting some marshmellows and hotdogs. We've emailed some places in a town called San Alfonso, so hopefully they'll email us back soon. It should be very exciting. Check back later today or tomorrow for a few pictures and more details of our weekend plans!
